Kalob Martinez is an American actor known for his work in voice acting for anime, as well as in puppetry and theater. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from the University of Houston and a Master of Fine Arts in Puppet Arts from the University of Connecticut, and is an advanced actor-combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors.
Martinez's voice acting career is primarily associated with ADV Films and Seraphim Digital, where he has lent his voice to numerous English adaptations of anime series and films. His notable roles span a variety of genres and character types. He voiced Shell Septinos in the Mardock Scramble film series, including The First Compression and The Second Combustion. In the science fiction film Starship Troopers: Invasion, he provided the voice for the character Holyman. He played the role of Takuya Shirakawa in the film The Place Promised in Our Early Days. Martinez also voiced the character Hyakume in both the Bodacious Space Pirates television series and its film, Abyss of Hyperspace. He is known for the role of Shinpachi Nagakura across multiple entries in the Hakuoki franchise, including Demon of the Fleeting Blossom, Record of the Jade Blood, and A Memory of Snow Flowers.
