Maryke Hendrikse is a Bahamian-born Canadian voice actress known for her extensive work in anime and Western animation, primarily with Ocean Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia. Born on February 23, 1979, in Nassau, Bahamas, she emigrated to Canada at the age of two and a half, settling in Toronto.

Hendrikse's career in voice acting began in 1990 and has spanned numerous roles across different media. A significant achievement in her career was receiving the Elan Award for Best Female Voice Over in an Animated Feature or TV Production in 2008 for her role as Susan Test in the series Johnny Test. Alongside her voice acting work, she pursued higher education, graduating from Douglas College in 2010 with a diploma in Child and Youth Care, where her academic performance earned her the Governor General's Bronze Medal.

In the realm of anime, Hendrikse is recognized for several prominent roles. She voiced Lunamaria Hawke in the various installments of the Gundam franchise, including the television series Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, the OVAs Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny Final Plus: The Chosen Future and Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny Special Edition, as well as the video games Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3. She also voiced Wang Liu Mei in both seasons of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and its film adaptation. Her portrayal of Revy in the series Black Lagoon is also considered one of her most notable anime roles.

Further demonstrating her range in the genre, Hendrikse provided the English voice for Miyako Goutokuji, the character who transforms into Rolling Bubbles, in the anime series Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z. In the Transformers franchise, she voiced the character Thunderblast in Transformers: Cybertron. Her more recent anime work includes the role of Battalia in the 2018 series Zoids Wild. She has also been a part of the My Little Pony franchise, voicing Gilda in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and providing the speaking voice for Sonata Dusk in My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Rainbow Rocks. Her work also includes the role of Yasmin in the second season of the Bratz animated series and several Bratz films, as well as numerous characters in the Barbie film series, such as Melody, Hadley, and Teresa.
