Orlando Mezzabotta is an Italian voice actor known for his extensive work in dubbing anime series and films for the Italian market. Born in Ancona in 1944, he began his performing career in the early 1970s as a theater actor, performing with prominent companies such as the Teatro di Genova and the Piccolo Teatro in Milan. He also appeared in Italian television dramas and films during the 1970s and 1980s before transitioning more fully to voice acting.

Starting in the early 1980s, Mezzabotta built a prolific career as a voice actor for dubbing studios in Milan and Turin, becoming a familiar voice in Italian editions of many popular anime. His work spans a wide range of characters, often lending his voice to antagonists, authority figures, and supporting roles. He is credited with voicing Admiral Bogart in the OAV series Super Atragon, a role confirmed by the Italian dubbing database Il mondo dei doppiatori. He also provided the voice for the character Barbas in the OAV Legend of Crystania: The Chaos Ring. Among his many other roles, he voiced the villainous Dokurobei in Time Bokan: Royal Revival.

Mezzabotta's career was marked by numerous recurring roles in major anime franchises dubbed in Italy. He was a prominent voice in the Italian adaptations of the Saint Seiya series, where he voiced the characters Cancer, Moses, Alcor, and Dedalus across the television series and films. He was also the regular Italian voice for the character Geese Howard in various installments of the Fatal Fury anime. Other notable credits include roles in City Hunter, Dragon Ball, Record of Lodoss War, and as the father of the protagonist Ataru in numerous Lum: Urusei Yatsura movies and episodes.

Beyond animation, Mezzabotta's voice work extended to live-action series and films, including dubbing roles in soap operas and programs like Power Rangers. His career as a voice actor was active until his retirement from the profession in 2004.
