Major Attaway is an American performer recognized for his work as a voice actor in English dubs of anime and video games, as well as for his extensive career in musical theatre. His voice acting career encompasses a wide range of characters across numerous popular series and franchises.

Attaway was raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and his early performance training included singing at church and with the Texas Boys Choir, as well as acting at local theatres such as Casa Mañana Theatre and Jubilee Theater. He later studied at both Texas Wesleyan University and the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Before establishing himself in voice acting, Attaway made his Broadway debut in the Disney musical Aladdin in 2016, where he eventually took over the role of the Genie. He would go on to perform the character over 1,500 times, becoming the longest-running actor to play the Genie on Broadway. He has also been heard Off-Broadway as the voice of Audrey II in the revival of Little Shop of Horrors.

In the realm of anime, Attaway has lent his voice to a substantial number of English-language productions. His roles include Jefferson Natdhipytadd in Battle Athletes Victory ReSTART!, Sultan Vinegar in The Snack World, Long Chuan in the third series of Kingdom, and Desmond Rutaganda in the film Psycho-Pass: The Movie. He is also known for voicing Urouge and Queen in One Piece, Murdock in Pokémon Horizons: The Series, Qual in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, and Arcadios in Fairy Tail and its related series. His other anime credits include roles in Dragon Ball Z Kai, Space Dandy, Golden Kamuy, and Ghost in the Shell: Arise, among many others.

Beyond anime, Attaway's voice work is prominent in the video game industry. He has provided voices for titles such as Borderlands 3, the Dragon Ball Xenoverse series, Smite, Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Battleborn, and Fire Emblem Heroes. His on-screen appearances include roles in the final season of the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black and the film Carter High.
