John DeMita is an American actor with an extensive career in voice work for anime, animation, and video games, as well as live-action television and film. Born on January 6, 1959, in New York City, he is a California-based performer and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and a Master of Fine Arts from the American Conservatory Theater. He is represented by Chrome Artists Management in Los Angeles.

DeMita has been active in the voice acting industry since the early 1990s and has lent his voice to a wide array of English dubs for popular anime series and films. Among his most recognized roles are those of the martial arts master Bang, also known as Silver Fang, in the series One Punch Man. He also voiced the character Chandler in the anime The Seven Deadly Sins: Imperial Wrath of The Gods and its sequel, The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon's Judgement. His film work includes the role of Glenn Arias in the animated film Resident Evil: Vendetta and the character Old Man in the Netflix dub of the film Ni no Kuni. Further demonstrating his range, he is credited as the voice of D-Boy in Tekkaman Blade II, Joe Kuruma in New Hurricane Polymar, and multiple characters in the film Alexander: The Movie, including Cleitus and Hephaestion.

Beyond the roles mentioned, DeMita has an extensive filmography in anime dubbing. He is well known for his work in the Naruto franchise, voicing characters such as Dosu Kinuta, Hiashi Hyuga, and Hizashi Hyuga. Other notable anime credits include Kars in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Jigoro Kuwajima in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Beerus in the Bang Zoom! Entertainment dub of Dragon Ball Super (under the pseudonym Archie Fletcher), Satotz in Hunter x Hunter, and Count D in Pet Shop of Horrors. His voice can also be heard in several major animated films, including the Disney dubs of Studio Ghibli films such as Princess Mononoke, where he played Kohroku, as well as Kiki's Delivery Service and Castle in the Sky, where he provided additional voices. His work in video games includes roles in the Final Fantasy series, such as Luzzu in Final Fantasy X, Clarus Amicitia in Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, and Nagi in Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Throughout his career, DeMita has frequently collaborated with a consistent group of voice actors and directors, often working on projects produced or directed by Jack Fletcher, his brother-in-law, alongside his wife, voice actress Julia Fletcher. He has also used pseudonyms for certain roles, including Archie Fletcher and Will Barret.

In addition to his performance work, John DeMita has contributed to the field as a teacher, having instructed theater arts at institutions such as the College of the Canyons, El Camino College, and the University of Southern California.
