Alex Zahara is a Canadian actor with a extensive career in television, film, and voice acting, born in Grande Prairie, Alberta. His path to performance began in theatre during his school years, which included participating in a stage adaptation of MAS*H. He later pursued formal education in the field, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts after studying at the University of Alberta and the University of British Columbia. Following a period of travel in Europe, Zahara decided to attend film school and subsequently taught an Acting for Teens class at the Vancouver Film School.

Zahara has built a prolific career as a voice actor, contributing to the English dubs of numerous anime series and films. Among his notable roles is Mystvearn, the primary antagonist, in the English adaptation of the 2020 anime series Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. He is also recognized for his work in the acclaimed animated film The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, where he provided the English voice for the character Kousuke Tsuda, one of the protagonist's two best friends.

Beyond these roles, his voice acting portfolio is diverse and spans various genres. He is known for voicing Shinsuke Takasugi in the English dub of Gintama° and Lockon Stratos in Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
