Born into a family of performers, she is the daughter of comedian and impersonator Jean-Pierre Denys (born Jean-Pierre Roux) and the niece of François Corbier, a well-known television personality and singer. Roux began her acting career at the age of five.
Roux is one of the most recognizable voices in French dubbing of Japanese animation, having lent her talents to a vast number of iconic series and films over several decades. Among her most notable roles are Alex Chamade in the anime series Signé Cat's Eyes and its 2019 film adaptation, Nicky Larson Private Eyes. She also voiced the characters Kana Alberona, Reby McGarden, and Aquarius in the long-running series Fairy Tail and its feature film, Fairy Tail: La Prêtresse du Phoenix. Her work in the 1980s includes the role of Debbie Asakura in the various films and TV specials of Théo ou la Batte de la Victoire (Touch) and the character of Georgie Baker in the series Georgie.
Her voice has been featured in numerous other classic anime series. She played the roles of Vanessa Hayamizu and Peter in Vanessa ou la magie des rêves (Magical Fairy Persia), Julie Lafforgue in Vas-y Julie! Devilman film, Chobin in Hoshi no Ko Chobin, and Yukari Tatsumiya and Yukiko in Doomed Megalopolis. In the anime adaptation of Ikki Tousen: Dragon Destiny, she provided the voice for Ekitoku Chôhi. Roux was also part of the voice cast for several Ghibli films, including Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, where she voiced Listel.
Beyond animation, Roux has been the regular French voice for several actresses, most notably Amy Jo Johnson in series like Felicity and Flashpoint. She is also famous for her role as the Pink Ranger (Sikou Katsoura / Force Rose) in the live-action Japanese series Bioman, which became a cultural touchstone in France. Her dubbing work in live-action series includes roles in Parker Lewis ne perd jamais, Sabrina, l'apprentie sorcière, Kenan et Kel, and more recently, Pose. She has also voiced characters in video games such as Adibou and Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Roux has spoken warmly of her collaborative experiences, particularly with the teams on Signé Cat's Eyes and Vas-y Julie!, whom she considered a "real little family". She co-founded a theater company, La Compagnie des saisons, with fellow voice actors Barbara Tissier and Hervé Rey, which was active until 2002. In addition to her on-screen and voice work, Roux is also active as a voice director, overseeing the French dubbing for numerous films and television series.
