Sandro Acerbo is an Italian voice actor and dubbing director, born Alessandro Ancidoni in Rome on September 5, 1955. He began his career in dubbing as a child in the 1960s, with some of his earliest roles including providing the Italian voice for Michael Banks in the film Mary Poppins. Over a career spanning several decades, he has become a prominent figure in the Italian dubbing industry, known for his work in both animation and live-action dubbing.

Acerbo has lent his voice to a wide array of characters in Italian-dubbed anime. These roles include Askeladd in Vinland Saga, Kakugo Hagakure in Apocalypse Zero, and the titular character Takeshi Polymar in Hurricane Polymar. He also voiced George Minami, who transforms into the hero Tekkaman, in the classic series Tekkaman, the Space Knight, and Lee Chaolan in Tekken: The Motion Picture. His other notable anime credits include Allen Shezar in The Vision of Escaflowne, Millions Knives in Trigun, Hubb Lebowsky in Wolf's Rain, and Alessandro in both Reign: The Conqueror and Alexander: The Movie.

Beyond his extensive anime filmography, Acerbo is highly celebrated for his live-action dubbing work. He is the official Italian voice actor for Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Will Smith, dubbing them in the vast majority of their film roles. He also provides the Italian voice for actor Eddie Murphy and has dubbed performances by Hugh Grant, Robert Downey Jr., and Michael J. Fox, among others. He is well-known for voicing Marty McFly in the final two installments of the Back to the Future film series. In addition to voice acting, Acerbo works as a dialogue writer and dubbing director, with credits including the Italian versions of The Ring and The Grudge films.

Acerbo comes from a family deeply rooted in the dubbing profession. He is the brother of voice actress Rossella Acerbo and the late voice actor Maurizio Ancidoni, and cousin to voice actors Fabrizio and Massimiliano Manfredi. Following his brother's passing in 2019, Acerbo assumed the role of CEO and general manager of the CDC Sefit Group, a major dubbing company in Italy.
