Alessandro Campaiola, also known professionally as Alessandro Ward, is an Italian voice actor and theater actor born in Rome on November 19, 1992. He comes from a renowned family in the Italian dubbing industry; he is the son of voice actress Monica Ward, the nephew of voice actors Luca Ward and Andrea Ward, and the older brother of voice actor Federico Campaiola. His great-great-grandmother, Dina Romano, was also an actress and voice actress, known for dubbing the witch in the first Italian dubbing of Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1938. Campaiola began dubbing at the age of four but made the conscious decision to pursue it as a career at fifteen.

Campaiola is widely recognized for his voice roles in numerous popular anime series. He is the primary Italian voice of Eren Jaeger, providing his voice for the character across all iterations of the series, including Attack on Titan, Attack on Titan Part 1 – Guren no Yumiya, Attack on Titan Part 2 – Jiyuu no Tsubasa, Attack on Titan: The Roar of Awakening, and Attack on Titan The Final Season. He has also voiced the titular character Saitama in One-Punch Man, Seidou Takizawa in Tokyo Ghoul, Don in The Promised Neverland, and Ruth in The Ancient Magus' Bride. His other anime credits include roles in Her Blue Sky as Shinnosuke Kanomura, Ni no Kuni as Gnauss, revisions as Daisuke Dojima, Fireworks, Should We See it from the Side or the Bottom? as Yūsuke Azumi, and Karre in the Star Wars: Visions episode "The Duel". More recently, he has taken on the role of Ryoga Hibiki in the reboot of Ranma 1/2.

Beyond anime, Campaiola's career is marked by a significant body of work in live-action series and films. He is the Italian voice of Steve Harrington in Stranger Things and Barry Allen / The Flash in The Flash and other Arrowverse series. He frequently dubs actors such as Taron Egerton, Evan Peters, Harry Styles, and Alex Wolff. In animation, he has voiced Branch in Trolls: The Beat Goes On! and Jalil Kubdel in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.

In addition to his dubbing work, Campaiola is an active theater actor and comedian. He is a member of the comedy group Fuori Sync, alongside his brother Federico Campaiola, Alessio Nissolino, and Francesco Silella, with whom he has performed the show "Attori? No, grazie". He has also appeared in theatrical productions such as Lavoriamoci su, Potrebbe andare peggio, and Pop Art. In 2021, he launched a public petition to advocate for the Italian dubbing of the final part of Attack on Titan, which gathered significant support and highlighted the public's appreciation for professionally dubbed content. He considers his roles as Eren Jaeger, Saitama, and Barry Allen / The Flash to be among the most significant and personally meaningful in his career.
