Kirstin Hesse
Description
Kirstin Hesse is a German singer, actress, and voice actress born in Lünen in 1980. She began her career in entertainment as a performer, receiving singing and dancing lessons during her childhood. In the late 1990s, she participated in various singing competitions and found success as a pop singer under the stage name Kirstin Hall, most notably with the song Forever Tonight, a duet with Christian Wunderlich released in 1999. That same year, she gained wider recognition by winning the German preliminary round of the European Soundmix Show.
Following her initial music career, Hesse pursued acting, taking private acting lessons. Since the 2000s, she has appeared in guest roles on numerous German television series, including Mein Leben & Ich, Pastewka, In aller Freundschaft, Der letzte Bulle, and Blockbustaz. Her work in the RTL sitcom Angie from 2006 to 2008, where she was part of the main ensemble, earned the cast a nomination for the Bavarian TV Prize in 2008. Alongside her on-screen work, she is also active in theatre, performing at the Scala Theater in Cologne.
In addition to her on-camera and stage performances, Hesse has built a career as a voice actress, lending her voice to characters in German dubs of various anime series. These voice roles include Cindi in The Magnificent Kotobuki, Taiga Fujimura in the 2022 German synchronization of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, and Roo in the 2021 German dub of High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World.
