Lina Mendes is a Brazilian voice actress, singer, and musical theater performer known for her extensive work dubbing anime, cartoons, and live-action series into Brazilian Portuguese. She began her career in voice acting as a child, providing the singing voice for young Kiara in the film The Lion King II: Simba's Pride and the voice of young Miriam in The Prince of Egypt. Alongside her dubbing career, Mendes is a classically trained singer, having graduated in Lyric Singing from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She has also trained at prestigious institutions such as the Accademia alla Scala in Milan and the Centre de Perfeccionament del Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Spain.

Mendes has lent her voice to a wide array of prominent characters in anime. She voices the half-elf Emilia in the series Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-, a role she has reprised for the series' OVAs, including Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- Memory Snow and The Frozen Bond. In the same franchise, she also provides the voice for the character Satella. Her other notable anime roles include the cunning Myne in The Rising of the Shield Hero, the mysterious Kate Shadow in the first season of Shadows House, and the powerful Sophia in So I'm a Spider, So What?. Her voice acting portfolio extends beyond anime to include a variety of characters in Western animation and live-action productions. She is the voice of Adora in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Ahsoka Tano in various iterations of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Violet Parr in The Incredibles and its sequel, Terra in Teen Titans, Ruffnut in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, and Raya in Raya and the Last Dragon. In live-action dubbing, Mendes is recognized as the first voice of Harper Finkle in Wizards of Waverly Place and Toni Topaz in Riverdale.

In addition to her voice work, Lina Mendes has a significant career in musical theater. A notable achievement was her portrayal of Christine Daaé in the Brazilian production of The Phantom of the Opera at the Teatro Renault in São Paulo during the 2018/2019 season.
