Laura Maire is a German actress and voice artist born on October 11, 1979, in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, Bavaria. She comes from a family with a strong acting background, as she is the daughter of the renowned actor and voice actor Fred Maire. Maire pursued formal training at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt. She gained initial fame as an on-screen actress for her leading role in the television series Verdammt verliebt, a performance that earned her the Rising Movie Talent Award at the Filmfest München in 2001.

While her career encompasses both live-action roles and voice work, Laura Maire is highly regarded for her extensive contributions as a German dubbing voice artist. In the realm of anime and animated films, she has lent her voice to a variety of prominent characters. She voiced Umi Matsuzaki in the Studio Ghibli film From Up On Poppy Hill. In the highly successful film Your Name., she is the German voice of Miki Okudera. For the Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid series, she voices the dragon child Kanna Kamui. She also portrays Yue in the series Arifureta - From Commonplace to World's Strongest and Kozue Matsumoto in Baki. A significant recurring role is her portrayal of Rei Hino, also known as Sailor Mars, in the German versions of the Sailor Moon universe, including Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal: Season III, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal, and Sailor Moon Cosmos.
