Description
Arranged by the mysterious Fumiya Itou, seven young men live together in a shared residence known as Charisma House. Each resident embodies a distinct type of charisma, including the obedient Iori Motohashi, the rebellious Kei Sarukawa, the self-absorbed Terra, the orderly Rikai Kusanagi, the guilt-ridden Ohse Minato, the sensual Amahiko Tendou, and the morally ambiguous Fumiya himself. The group dedicates itself to nurturing their unique personal magnetism, turning everyday adversities into fuel for a mysterious force called the Charisma Charge. Their ultimate goal remains unclear, as no one knows what will happen when this accumulated energy reaches its peak.
The story unfolds primarily within the walls of Charisma House, where the residents daily lives are marked by extreme personalities that often clash. Rikai constantly struggles to maintain order against the chaos caused by his housemates, such as Ohses frequent suicide attempts or Terras obsession with his own reflection. Despite their bizarre habits, the group forms an unlikely bond, supporting one another in their own peculiar ways. A secondary conflict arises when a scientist named Souemon Nakagami begins secretly monitoring the house. Nakagami believes the energy released during the residents Charisma Break events could solve global energy problems, and he schemes to manipulate the group for his own purposes, even sending an assistant to infiltrate the house as a spy.
Notable narrative arcs include the gradual exploration of each character`s backstory, such as the childhood friendship between Iori and Kei, and the mysterious past of the youngest resident Fumiya. The series also follows the escalating tension with Nakagami, whose attempts to control the Charisma energy inevitably backfire, forcing the scientist to become more directly involved with the housemates. As the residents continue to push their abilities through increasingly absurd situations, the true nature of their charisma and the purpose of the Charisma Charge slowly come into focus, driving the story toward its unknown conclusion.
