Description
Nasa Yuzaki, a brilliant and academically gifted high school student, has his life take an unexpected turn when he is struck by a truck while attempting to save a mysterious girl, Tsukasa Tsukuyomi, from a similar fate. Despite sustaining serious injuries, Nasa survives and, in a moment of clarity, confesses his love to Tsukasa, asking her to marry him. Tsukasa agrees but only if he first proves his commitment by dating her. After recovering, Nasa dedicates himself to finding Tsukasa again, eventually locating her and rekindling their connection. The two quickly marry, and the story shifts to their life together as a newlywed couple.
The series explores the daily lives of Nasa and Tsukasa as they navigate the challenges and joys of marriage, despite their young age. Nasa, though highly intelligent, often struggles with social interactions and practical life skills, while Tsukasa is enigmatic, displaying a calm and mature demeanor that contrasts with her youthful appearance. Their relationship is marked by mutual affection, with Tsukasa often teasing Nasa and Nasa striving to be a dependable husband. The narrative focuses on their growing bond, as well as the small, heartwarming moments that define their life together.
Supporting characters, such as Nasa’s childhood friend Aya Arisugawa and the quirky maid Kaname Arisugawa, add depth to the story, providing comedic relief and occasional insight into the couple’s dynamic. The series also hints at Tsukasa’s mysterious past, with subtle clues suggesting she may have a connection to Japanese folklore or supernatural elements, though these aspects remain largely unexplored in favor of the central focus on the couple’s relationship.
The tone of the series is lighthearted and romantic, with an emphasis on the sweetness of everyday life. The plot avoids dramatic conflicts, instead highlighting the simplicity and warmth of Nasa and Tsukasa’s marriage. Through its focus on their interactions and the gradual development of their relationship, the series presents a wholesome and endearing portrayal of young love and companionship.
