Together, they travel across France, earning a living through performances. Remi’s journey is marked by both moments of joy and profound sorrow as she forms bonds with Vitalis and the animals, learning valuable life lessons along the way. However, tragedy strikes when Vitalis falls ill and passes away, leaving Remi to fend for herself.

Alone and destitute, Remi continues her search for her family, encountering a variety of characters who either help or hinder her progress. She befriends a boy named Mattia, a talented musician who becomes her loyal companion. Together, they navigate the challenges of survival, facing exploitation, betrayal, and the harsh realities of life on the road.
