Kagome Higurashi appears as a supporting character in the sequel series *Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon*. After marrying Inuyasha, she gave birth to their daughter, Moroha. During a conflict involving the demon Kirinmaru, Kagome and Inuyasha entered the Black Pearl—a separate realm created by Inuyasha's father—sent there by Sesshōmaru, Jaken, and the Great Dog Demon's consort (Inuyasha's mother) for their protection, due to uncertainty about Kirinmaru targeting them. Moroha was entrusted to the wolf demon Kōga for safekeeping during this separation. Following an extended confinement within the Black Pearl, Kagome and Inuyasha were eventually reunited with Moroha and the wider group when the seal ended. By this time, Kagome had achieved the status of an uppermost-level priestess.
