Description
Vector operates as a ruthless broker in the Scrapyard’s underworld, trafficking illegal shipments of human organs and body parts to Tiphares. His enterprise later diversifies into procuring resources from Factory Farms and Badlands mines for the Factory. After the Factory’s collapse, he consolidates power, stabilizing the region’s post-war chaos through economic dominance.

A tall, thin figure with dark skin, he conceals his eyes behind ever-present sunglasses. Initially clean-shaven, he adopts a beard and mustache following a Barjack assassination attempt that leaves him wheelchair-bound. In later years, he drapes himself in patterned robes and scarves. His demeanor balances ruthless pragmatism with a personal code of honor, offering mentorship to Hugo and shelter after Zapan’s betrayal. He repays Koyomi’s aid by financing her father’s medical care and securing their housing.

A master of detecting lies through microexpressions, this skill underpins his survival and ascent. His business acumen cements control over the Scrapyard’s economy, positioning him as its de facto ruler. In one timeline, he strikes a Faustian pact with a scientist, exchanging organ supplies and tolerance of unethical experiments for political protection and Motorball oversight. While complicit in deploying covert mind-control tech, he occasionally resists total compliance, such as dissuading Hugo’s impractical ambitions.

His relationship with Kaos evolves from dismissiveness to strategic investment. After testing Kaos’ resolve with a restrictive arm cuff, Vector funds his Tower of Tiphares project, seeing it as a power play. In an alternate continuity, he manipulates gladiatorial combat and Motorball, eliminating rivals. He recruits a cybernetic engineer to augment fighters but executes her for underperformance, harvesting her organs to meet quotas. His death comes during a clash with a vengeful cyborg, impaled by a detached mechanical limb.

Fates diverge: he survives an orbital catastrophe to steer the Scrapyard’s recovery or dies when a possessed protagonist kills him, his demise deemed trivial by a manipulative overseer. Born in poverty, he arrived in the Scrapyard four decades earlier, forging an empire through shrewd adaptation and survival instincts, maintaining legitimacy amid ever-shifting power struggles.
