Description
Nike serves as Olympus' Chief of Staff and commander of the elite ESWAT unit. A Second Generation Bioroid, her genetic engineering suppresses negative emotions such as anger and hatred, fostering an efficient and sometimes cold demeanor aligned with the Bioroid prime purpose of safeguarding humanity's future.

In the 2004 film, Nike acts primarily as an assistant to Olympus' leader, Athena Areios. She intervenes in a critical moment, firing her pistol at an Elder's arm to disrupt his activation of a doomsday switch, enabling Athena to cut the device's power and avert disaster.

Her responsibilities broaden in *Appleseed: Ex Machina*. When the cyborg Briareos is hospitalized, Nike assigns Deunan Knute a new partner: Tereus, a Bioroid created using Briareos' DNA for compatibility with the Hecatonchires system. Nike informs Deunan of this decision, acknowledging her suspicion about Tereus' resemblance but stressing the operational necessity of integrating Bioroids into law enforcement. Deunan accepts the rationale while disagreeing with the implementation method. Nike also handles diplomatic duties, formally greeting Yoshino, an emissary from Poseidon investigating corporate links to terrorism. Yoshino denies involvement, asserting that supporting terrorists contradicts Poseidon's interests.

During a global leaders' conference in Olympus on satellite control for terrorism prevention, human assailants attack the venue. Nike urges Athena to suspend proceedings and evacuate, but Athena refuses. Following the successful defense, Olympus gains control of all orbiting satellites. It is later revealed attackers were manipulated via the Connexus device. When satellites are hijacked to control Olympus' population, ESWAT neutralizes the threat. Observing humanity's self-destructive tendencies afterward, Nike hears Athena counter that human resilience ultimately prevents downfall.

In *Appleseed XIII*, Nike maintains her position as an advisor to Athena within Olympus' leadership structure, consistently involved in governance and crisis management.
