Description
University students Uji and Sabae Reika are good friends and members of the same campus club. Uji harbors a crush on Sakurai Minami, a popular club member who also happens to be Sabae's best friend, but he has difficulty speaking with her directly. He frequently turns to Sabae for advice on how to approach his romantic interest. However, these consultations are complicated because Sabae is forward, makes risqué jokes, and has a noticeable physical presence, often distracting Uji. This leads him to become strangely conscious of Sabae as a woman, creating moments of tension where friendship and desire blur. The series follows Uji as he finds himself caught between his feelings for Sakurai and his growing, confusing attraction to Sabae, all while navigating the everyday life of a university student. The story unfolds on a modern Japanese university campus and in the surrounding social spaces where the friend group gathers, including drinking parties and club activities. Key characters include Uji, portrayed by Hamada Tatsuomi; Sabae Reika, played by Sawaguchi Aika; and Sakurai Minami, performed by Shindo Amane. Their circle also includes friends like Kachiki Rin, Kira, and Tamura, who populate their shared social world. One notable narrative arc occurs when Uji gets drunk at a party, is bossed around by Sabae and another friend, and wakes up with fragmented memories. Later, while observing Sabae, Kachiki, and Sakurai from a distance, he eavesdrops on their private conversation, leading to an awkward confrontation when he is discovered.
