Lara Parmiani is an Italian voice actor and actress with an extensive career in dubbing anime, animation, and live-action content. Born in Milan on July 25, 1971, she trained at the Accademia dei Filodrammatici in Milan and later at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where she also earned a degree in dramaturgy. She is a soprano and works professionally in both Italian and English, being fully bilingual.

Parmiani's voice can be heard in a vast number of anime series dubbed for the Italian market. Her roles are diverse, ranging from young children to adult women. Among her most recognized parts are the characters Charlotte and Jack in the series Huckleberry Finn Monogatari. She was also a prolific voice in the World Fairy Tale Series, lending her voice to multiple characters including Gretel, the Little Match Girl (Piccola fiammiferaia), the Blue Fairy (Fata turchina), a Princess (Principessa), the Good Queen (Regina buona), and a Fair Sister (Sorella bionda). In the comedy series Idol Defense Force Hummingbird, she voiced the character Uzuki, and she played the role of Alba (Yoko) in Idol Tenshi Yōkoso Yōko. She also voiced the title character Maya in Thumbelina: A Magical Story and Sara in the fantasy OVA Shamanic Princess.

She is notably the voice of the female Wii Fit Trainer in the Wii Fit series and the Super Smash Bros. games, and she voiced Judith Mossman in Half-Life 2. Her commercial clients have included major brands like Kit Kat, Nintendo, and Coca-Cola. In 1997, she won the Paola Tovaglia Award for Best Voice-over Artiste for her role as Nancy in the series Un oceano di avventure. She was also a nominee for the Voice Arts Awards in Los Angeles in 2015 for Outstanding Body Of Work. In addition to her voice work, she is an accomplished theatre actress, writer, and founder of the LegalAliens Theatre company in London.
