Irene Scalzo is an Italian voice actress, primarily known for her work in dubbing animated series and films. She was born in Caltanissetta, Italy, on August 5, 1968, and was active in the dubbing industry in Milan until her retirement in October 2012. Her career was dedicated almost exclusively to voicing characters in cartoons and anime.

Scalzo's most significant and long-running role was providing the first Italian voice for the protagonist Conan Edogawa in the long-running anime series Detective Conan. She voiced the character for ten years, covering the first 593 episodes and 13 films based on the series. This role established her as a prominent figure in Italian anime dubbing.

Throughout her career, she was frequently cast in the roles of young boys, a common practice in voice acting. This is reflected in several of the roles specified by the user, which are all confirmed as part of her filmography.
