Oliver Bender is a German actor and voice artist born on October 2, 1982, in Gummersbach, who has built a extensive career in both on-screen and voice-over roles. His path to acting began by chance during a casting for a VIVA moderation role in 2003, which led to his participation in the ProSieben docu-soap Die Casting Agentur. He subsequently gained widespread recognition for his on-screen portrayal of Tim Böcking in the long-running daily soap Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten from 2004 to 2009. While continuing to appear in numerous television formats such as Tatort, Notruf Hafenkante, and In aller Freundschaft, Bender increasingly focused on voice acting from 2011 onward, a transition supported by vocal coaching from colleague Engelbert von Nordhausen.

In the realm of anime and animation, Bender has lent his voice to a diverse array of characters. He voices Lieutenant Lane Aim, the pilot of the Penelope mobile suit, in the film Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway.
