Vittorio Bestoso was an Italian voice actor and actor, primarily active in the dubbing industry in Milan. He was known for his distinctive voice in numerous anime series, animated films, and video games from the 1980s until his death in 2023. His career was centered in Milan, where he provided voices for a vast array of cartoon characters.

Bestoso's voice became familiar to Italian audiences through several iconic roles in popular anime. He was particularly well-known as the voice of Umibozu, also known as Falcon, in the various series and specials of City Hunter, including the film City Hunter: Shinjuku Private Eyes. He also had a long association with the Dragon Ball franchise, most notably as the voice of Re Yammer (King Enma) in Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super. His work extended to other major anime, such as providing the first Italian voice for the narrator in Berserk, voicing Gol D. Roger in One Piece films and series, and playing multiple characters in Le fiabe di Andersen (Andersen Monogatari), including Angelo, Compagno di viaggio, and Einstein. In the film Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise, he voiced the character Majaho.

Beyond anime, Bestoso had a significant career in dubbing for live-action productions and video games. He was the Italian voice of the Penguin in various Batman animated series and films from the 1990s and 2000s. His extensive video game work included characters in major franchises such as Legacy of Kain, Assassin's Creed, Batman: Arkham, and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. He was also the voice of Spawn in Mortal Kombat 11.

In addition to his voice work, Bestoso was an on-screen actor. He was known to an Italian television audience for his role as Jack, the sound engineer, in the popular 1980s teen series Licia dolce Licia, Teneramente Licia, and Balliamo e cantiamo con Licia. He also had a long history in theater and radio, working with Assemblea Teatro in Turin and as a conductor for Radio Due. Bestoso served as the president of the ADAP (Associazione Doppiatori e Attori Pubblicitari), the association of advertising voice actors and actors, until 2008.
