Hiroshi Takemura
Description
Hiroshi Takemura is a Japanese voice actor born on October 24, 1953, in Tokyo, Japan. He is a graduate of the theatrical troupe Gekidan Baraza, which was directed by the noted voice actor Nachi Nozawa. Before becoming a voice actor, Takemura was primarily active as a stage actor. After leaving the troupe in 1980, he briefly left the entertainment industry and worked as a floor manager at a Japanese restaurant in Tokyo. His entry into voice acting came at the age of 29 when a sound director heard his demo tape and invited him to audition for a role, leading to his debut as the lead character Joe in the 1983 film Crusher Joe: The Movie. He is currently affiliated with the talent management firm Office Kaoru.
Takemura's career is marked by a wide array of roles in anime television series, OVAs, and films from the 1980s onward. He gained significant recognition for his work in several major franchises. In the Transformers series, he voiced the characters Ginrai, Super Ginrai, and God Ginrai in Transformers: Super-God Masterforce, as well as Victory Leo and God Ginrai in Transformers: Victory. He played the role of Touma Hashiba, also known as the Roaming Sage Touma, in the popular series Ronin Warriors (known as Yoroiden Samurai Troopers in Japan) and its various OVA sequels and dramas. His other prominent roles from this era include Barts Ryan in Ginga Hyōryū Vifam, Shinsuke Maki in Future GPX Cyber Formula, and Yamato Hino in God Mazinger.

His filmography includes the role of Lancerow Dawell in After War Gundam X, Werner Fritz in Metal Armor Dragonar, and Marco Morassim in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
