Haruhi Terada is the former stage name of Haruhi Nanao, a Japanese voice actress born in Tokyo on February 11, 1973. She began her career in the late 1990s and is affiliated with the talent management firm 81 Produce. In 2014, following her parents' divorce, she changed her professional surname from Terada to Nanao, which is her mother's maiden name.
Her career spans a wide variety of roles in anime television series, original video animations, and video games. She is known for her work in long-running and popular franchises. One of her most recognized roles is Sella, the devoted homunculus maid to Illyasviel von Einzbern, in multiple anime adaptations of the Fate series, including Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, and the comedic spin-off Carnival Phantasm. She also voiced the character Fabia in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders.
In the 1990s and 2000s, she took on a number of roles in children's and fantasy anime. These include Navichan in Beast Wars II Chō Seimeitai Transformers, and multiple characters in the long-running franchise Hikarian - Great Railroad Protector, such as Dojiras and Tsubasa. She played Victoria in Wan Wan Celeb Soreyuke! Tetsunoshin. Her filmography also includes Sakura Sugai in Ah My Buddha, Mizuho Kobayakawa in the OVA Class Reunion, and Nami in Zoku Koihime.
