Shawn Gann is a Filipino-American ADR director and voice actor primarily known for his work with Crunchyroll in English dubs of anime series. His career encompasses both on-screen voice acting and behind-the-scenes direction, with a background in theater that predates his voice work. Gann is an active theatre maker in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where he has performed on numerous major stages, started several companies, and served on producing boards. He has also toured as an actor both nationally and internationally, including a performance at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland.
As a voice actor, Gann has lent his talents to a wide array of prominent anime franchises. He voices Doc, the timid researcher from the Artemis Institute, in the series Radiant. In the idol-themed Ensemble Stars!, he is the voice of Shu Itsuki, the leader of the unit Valkyrie. He also portrays Manabu Takasaki, a teacher with an unrequited crush, in Nichijou - My Ordinary Life. His extensive list of credits includes roles in major productions such as My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball Super, Attack on Titan, One Piece, Fruits Basket, and Ranking of Kings.
