Sérgio Rufino

Sérgio Rufino is a Brazilian actor and former voice actor based in São Paulo, recognized for his work in dubbing various anime series and films. Originally from São José do Rio Preto, he began his artistic career in amateur theater before relocating to the capital, where he accumulated over twenty years of experience in performance. His training also includes specialization in music and singing, as well as dance. In addition to voice acting, his career encompassed work in television, appearing in productions such as the telenovela Desejos de Mulher and the humor program A Diarista, along with participation in numerous television and radio advertising campaigns.

Rufino eventually concluded his career as a voice actor, making a final return to the profession to work on the video game Alma dos Soldados.

His dubbing portfolio includes a range of characters in anime. Among his noted roles are Senritsu in the television series and OAV of Hunter × Hunter, and Hikaru Ichijyo in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross OVA. He also provided voices for several characters within the Saint Seiya franchise, including Isaak de Kraken, Ban de Leão Menor, and an initial stint as the voice of Shiryu. His other anime credits include Kouga in InuYasha, Baby in Dragon Ball GT, Dr. Tofu in Ranma ½, and roles in the OVAs Ellcia and Dragon Ball Z Movie 6: Return of Cooler. Beyond anime, his voice work extended to animated series such as O Fantástico Mundo de Bobby, Doug, and Os Pinguins de Madagascar.
