Tomohiro Tsuboi is a Japanese voice actor and narrator born on September 30, 1971, in Saitama Prefecture. He began his career after graduating from the Katsuta Voice Actor Academy and completing further training at an academy affiliated with Ezaki Production in 1991. He was initially affiliated with the agency Mouse Promotion, which later became Mausu Promotion, before moving to his current agency, 81 Produce, in 2007.

Tsuboi is recognized for his versatile vocal range, allowing him to portray a wide variety of characters, from serious and dramatic figures to lighthearted and comedic roles. He has built an extensive career across anime, video games, drama CDs, and foreign language dubbing. Among his most prominent and recurring anime roles are Shinpachi Nagakura across the numerous installments of the Hakuoki franchise, including Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom and its sequels; Toshiie Maeda in the Sengoku Basara series, such as in Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings and Gakuen Basara: Samurai High School; and Izumo Kamizuki in the long-running Naruto and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations series. His filmography also includes roles such as Ryō Saotome in ACTORS: Songs Connection, Ichirō Seii in Knights of Sidonia, Shin in Fighting Beauty Wulong, Ghana in Trouble Chocolate, and Mukitetsu in Kami-sama Minarai: Himitsu no Cocotama.

His voice work extends significantly into video games, where he has played Maeda Toshiie in the Sengoku Basara game series and Shinpachi Nagakura in the various Hakuoki games.
