Yūko Sasaki is a Japanese voice actress, born on November 19 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She is distinct from a Japanese pop singer of the same name who was born in 1976. Sasaki has built a career with a wide range of roles across many anime series, films, and video games, often voicing action-oriented female characters as well as young boys.

Her extensive voice credits span several decades. In the 1980s, Sasaki provided voices for characters in series such as Catherine Royal in Space Adventure Cobra, Sara in Giant Gorg, Akiko Aoshika and Keiko Sawa in the original Wolf Guy series, Emu O'Hara in Crying Freeman, Gilbert in the Kaze to Ki no Uta OVA, and Si Tau in Hades Project Zeorymer. During this period, she also voiced Miranda Cocker in the film Venus Wars.

Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, she continued to take on diverse roles. She is known for playing Kotake Sakura, the grandmother of the title character, in the long-running series Chibi Maruko-chan. She also voiced Natsuko Oozora in Captain Tsubasa Road to 2002, Selene in Sally the Witch, and Yukie in Shrine of the Morning Mist. Her role as Shenhua in the anime Black Lagoon is among her most recognized performances.

More recent credits include Mari Mutō in Japan Sinks: 2020, the Mermaid Queen in Tropical-Rouge! Precure, and Lillian in The Unwanted Undead Adventurer. Other notable roles listed are Diana Barry in the Japanese dub of the live-action Anne of Green Gables and Kourin in The Twelve Kingdoms. On the video game side, she is known for voicing characters such as Kaka, Maria, and Shenhua.
