Description
A young boy named Shota and his Pokemon partner, the gluttonous and temperamental Morpeko, set out on their first big adventure together to attend a summer beach festival. Shota holds a deep admiration for the powerful Blade Pokemon Bisharp, who he considers a hero, and the festival is the perfect opportunity to see this idol in person. Determined to stand out from the crowd of other fans, Shota and Morpeko dress up in special costumes for the occasion. As they travel through sunny Japanese townscapes to reach the festival grounds, their journey becomes an unexpected series of chaotic encounters. They cross paths with other children attending the event, including friends named Haru and Takeru, as well as various other Pokemon like Psyduck and Lickitung. These meetings lead to a string of humorous mishaps and surprises, all while Shota struggles to manage Morpeko's ever-hungry and shifting moods. The narrative is framed as a personal recollection, with Shota writing about the day's events in his diary, ultimately celebrating the themes of childhood curiosity, friendship, and the simple joy of a summer outing. This 3D animated short was released as part of a special summer project, running approximately eleven minutes.
