Description
Twin bear sisters Lulu and Lolo live together in a countryside setting with their family, including their papa, mama, and grandmother. Lulu has orange fur while Lolo is yellow, and the two young bears approach every day as a new opportunity to take on challenges and help with chores around the home. What may seem like a simple task to an adult, such as weeding the garden, cleaning the bathroom, doing the laundry, going to the beach, or looking after a baby, becomes a major and difficult mission for the two sisters. Despite the potential for failure, they always try their best, shouting Heave, heave, ho! to keep their spirits high as they work. The girls love their grandmother's homemade cookies, which become a source of comfort when things go wrong and they end up crying. Their approach to problem solving often involves gathering many tools and materials, though they frequently collect items that are not actually needed for the task at hand. When a rival interferes or a job does not go as planned, the twins wail in sorrow until Grandma's cookies cheer them up, after which they finally finish their work and take a well-deserved nap. The series follows an episodic structure where each day brings a new job or activity for the twin bears to tackle together.
