Agumon competes in the Digimon Grand Prix, piloting his missile-shaped "Taiti-Special" vehicle. He immediately flies the wrong way, causing a delayed start. Later, he teams up with Patamon after Patamon's vehicle departs without him, offering him a ride. Progressing through diverse terrains, Agumon gathers multiple Digimon racers onto his vehicle after collisions or DemiDevimon's attacks eliminate them. During the final city stage, Agumon inadvertently triggers a chain reaction; his missile causes digestive issues that create an improvised projectile eliminating Palmon and Gabumon. Veering off course again, Agumon returns just as DemiDevimon and Veemon battle for the lead. The shockwave from Agumon's high-speed flight destroys DemiDevimon's vehicle, allowing Agumon and his passengers to cross the finish line together. They share the title of "King of Digimon". The race ends with Agumon's vehicle going out of control and launching into space.
