Rafael Calvo, whose full name is Rafael Luis Calvo Ribot, is a Spanish voice actor and dubbing director primarily known for his extensive work in the Spanish-language dubbing of anime and live-action films. Based in Barcelona, he is also the director of a dubbing school in the city. His career spans several decades, with numerous voice roles in anime productions from the 1980s through the 2020s. In addition to anime, he is recognized as the regular Spanish dubbing voice for Hollywood actors such as Jack Black, Cuba Gooding Jr., Forest Whitaker, and John C. Reilly.

Calvo has an extensive list of anime credits. He voiced the character Agumon in the 2020 film Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, reuniting with the classic cast from the original series. In the Saint Seiya franchise, he has performed multiple roles, including Thanatos in The Hades Chapter - Elysion and The Lost Canvas, as well as Libra Dohko in several productions such as The Hades Chapter, Soul of Gold, and the Tenkai-hen movie. His other notable anime roles include Bobo in Dragon Pink, Rocky and Kaneto Muraki in Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei, CPO Okiumi in Sonic Boom Squadron, Charles Britain in New Dominion Tank Police, Kyuta Yamada in Hanappe Bazooka, Grewcica in Battle Angel, Ingues in Super Dimensional Fortress Macross II: The Movie, Professor Tani in 8 Man After, Kazusato Daitôbô in Judo Sanka, and Buju in Urotsukidōji IV: Inferno Road. His filmography also includes roles in major titles like Ninja Scroll as Yurimaru, Ghost in the Shell, and Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie as Dhalsim and Dee Jay.

Beyond acting, Calvo has a significant career as a dubbing director. He has directed the Spanish versions of numerous high-profile films, including several in the James Bond series like Casino Royale, Skyfall, and Quantum of Solace, as well as the Ironman and Spider-Man franchises.
