Description
In Digimon Adventure -BEYOND-, Agumon remains the partner Digimon to Taichi "Tai" Kamiya into their adult years. The story unfolds across multiple points in the timeline, set between the events of Digimon Adventure tri. and Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, between Kizuna and Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning, and after The Beginning.
During a journey, Agumon and Gabumon ride within the trunk of a car alongside Tai, Yamato "Matt" Ishida, Cody Hida, Armadillomon, a boy, and his partner Kyaromon. Sensing an approaching threat, Agumon and Gabumon detect the enemy Digimon Crowmon. They digivolve into Greymon and Garurumon to confront and battle this foe.
In moments of reflection, Agumon and Tai recall that their battles never truly end. Agumon acknowledges this perpetual conflict, and together they resolve to continue fighting for as long as people believe in them. This determination leads Agumon and Gabumon to warp-digivolve into WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, who then soar into the night sky.
