Description
Sanji, also known as Black Leg Sanji, is the suave and skilled chef of the Straw Hat Pirates. Born as Vinsmoke Sanji, he is the third son of the royal Vinsmoke family, the rulers of the Germa Kingdom. His father, Judge, a scientist and military leader, genetically modified his children to be emotionless super-soldiers. However, Sanji was deemed a failure because he retained his human emotions and empathy, leading to horrific abuse from his family and his eventual escape as a child.
After surviving a shipwreck, Sanji was rescued by Zeff, a legendary pirate known as Red Foot. To save the starving boy, Zeff sacrificed his own leg, an act that profoundly shaped Sanji's values.
