Description
A high school student obsessed with tokusatsu superheroes gets the chance to become his own creation when a mysterious girl from a parallel dimension gives him a notebook capable of making his drawings real. Kenta Hirono spends his days lost in daydreams of justice, designing his own hero persona Wingman and sketching costume upgrades, much to the amusement of his classmates. His life changes when Aoi falls from the sky carrying the Dream Note, a powerful artifact created by her father in the 2D world of Podreams. After Kenta unknowingly fills its pages with his hero designs, the notebook activates, granting him the ability to physically transform into Wingman for five minutes at a time.

The series follows Kenta as he balances ordinary school life with his newfound responsibility, protecting Aoi from assassins sent by the tyrant Rimel, who seized control of Podreams and now seeks the Dream Note to expand his conquest into the 3D world. Kenta fights as Wingman alongside Aoi, whose dimensional powers allow her to alter memories and manipulate psychic energy. Their partnership grows complicated with the presence of classmate Miku Ogawa, a reserved girl who initially finds Kenta embarrassing but gradually becomes drawn into his world. Unlike those whose memories are wiped to protect the secret, Miku chooses to remember and becomes an ally, creating a subtle love triangle between the three without open conflict.

The series runs for ten episodes, balancing monster-of-the-week encounters with serialized character development. Keytackler, Rimel right hand man voiced by Mamoru Miyano, serves as a recurring rival who becomes increasingly obsessed with defeating Wingman, even taking human form as a teacher at Kenta school. As the story progresses, Kenta powers evolve alongside his imagination, with each new sketch in the Dream Note manifesting as upgraded suits and abilities. The Action Theatre Club, Kenta group of fellow tokusatsu fans, provides support while pursuing their own smaller arcs, including Kumiko journey as an aspiring journalist whose sense of duty clashes with Kenta secret identity. The finale brings Kenta into direct confrontation with Rimel himself, forcing him to embrace everything he learned from the heroes he idolized to save both his world and Podreams from destruction. An exclusive special ending released on streaming services pays tribute to the original 1984 anime by incorporating manga panels alongside live-action footage.
