Description
The movie begins with a high-speed pursuit as the Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger squad, the Earth branch of the Special Police Dekaranger, chase the Alienizer criminal gang known as the Algolian Gas Drinkers. Although the gang escapes, DekaBreak, the team’s newest member, manages to recover a briefcase they left behind. Inside is a top-secret and highly dangerous virus called Golden Snow, which was being developed in a laboratory on the distant planet Leslie. Communications with Leslie have gone silent, so DekaBreak is assigned to travel there and investigate, while the rest of the team searches Earth for the Gas Drinkers.
During their investigation, the hot-blooded DekaRed, Banban Akaza, and the psychic ESPer DekaYellow, Jasmine, go undercover at a stylish nightclub. There, Ban is captivated by a beautiful singer named Marie Gold. He quickly discovers she is not just an entertainer; Marie is an undercover SPD officer from Leslie who possesses the rare ability to temporarily stop time. She reveals the tragic truth: the Gas Drinkers unleashed the Golden Snow virus on her home planet, turning the entire population into mindless machine slaves. Marie, who was off-world on patrol, is the sole survivor. The gang’s plan was to infect planets with the virus and then extort billions for the cure, a scheme facilitated by the shadowy arms dealer Agent Abrella.
The situation becomes deeply personal when Marie, desperate to save her ravaged planet, makes a secret deal with the Gas Drinkers. She uses her time-stopping power to steal the Golden Snow virus from the Dekarangers’ own Swan Laboratory, intending to trade it for the vaccine. Jasmine tracks her to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. As the Dekarangers confront her, the Gas Drinkers betray Marie. Their leader, Volger, injects her with the full dose of the virus, announcing that in one hour she will become violently ill and spread the plague across Earth. He demands a fortune for the vaccine.
Marie, in anguish, begs Ban to kill her to prevent the outbreak. Refusing to give up, Ban vows to retrieve the vaccine and save her life. As their robotic partner Murphy takes Marie back to Deka Base for containment, the team receives permission to delete the Alienizers. A series of intense gunfights erupts, with DekaBlue taking down Whinsky, DekaYellow and DekaPink eliminating Zeen, and DekaGreen destroying Brandell. DekaRed engages Volger in a dramatic duel reminiscent of a John Woo film. When Volger cheats by using a hidden energy attack, DekaMaster, the team’s commander, arrives via helicopter to provide support. Ban defeats Volger, retrieves the vaccine, and throws it to DekaMaster who rushes back to base to save Marie.
But Volger survives and teleports to Leslie, activating his enslaved machine army and a massive tank to launch an invasion of Earth. The Dekarangers deploy their giant Dekaranger Robo to stop him. Initially overpowered by the Kaijuki Killer Tank, they are reinforced by DekaBreak driving the new Blast Buggy vehicle. The two machines combine to form the Dekaranger Robo Full Blast Custom, which tears through Volger’s army and destroys his tank, ending the Alienizer threat for good. The next day, a fully recovered Marie prepares to return to Leslie with the vaccine to begin the long process of restoration. She bids the Dekarangers a heartfelt farewell. In a final, quiet moment, she stops time one last time to give Ban a flower and a kiss, expressing her hope to see him again.
