Oreste Baldini is an Italian actor and voice actor, born in Milan on July 8, 1962. He is widely recognized for his extensive career in dubbing, providing the Italian voice for numerous characters in both animated and live-action films and television series. He comes from a family of voice actors, with his siblings Antonella, Rita, and Nanni Baldini also working in the field.

Baldini began his on-screen acting career as a child, most notably portraying a young Vito Corleone in the 1974 film The Godfather Part II. He transitioned to voice acting, becoming a prominent figure in the Italian dubbing industry. In the realm of anime, he is known for several leading roles. He voiced the protagonist Sampei Nihira in the long-running series Tsurikichi Sampei. He also lent his voice to the character Jimmy Orion in Gasshin Sentai Mechander Robo and to Kamui in Ninpu Kamui Gaiden. Among his other anime credits are Tristano in the anime series based on the Arthurian legend, including Entaku no Kishi Monogatari: Moero Arthur and its sequel Moero Arthur: Hakuba no Oji, and the role of Tatsuo Kusabe in Hayao Miyazaki's classic film My Neighbor Totoro. He also voiced the character Daniel Zakovic in the more recent Netflix original anime series Japan Sinks: 2020.

Beyond anime, Baldini is celebrated for his Italian dubbing of a wide array of characters in Western animation. He is the official Italian voice of Shaggy Rogers in numerous Scooby-Doo productions and of King Julien XIII in the Madagascar film franchise. He has also voiced characters such as Courage in Courage the Cowardly Dog, Flint Lockwood in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Crane in Kung Fu Panda 3. In live-action dubbing, he is known as the regular Italian voice for actors like John Cusack, Ken Jeong, and Ludacris, and has dubbed Tim Roth, Johnny Depp, and many others.

In addition to his voice work, Oreste Baldini is also active as a dubbing director, adapter, sculptor, painter, and scenographer, having exhibited his artwork in various cities including Rome, Milan, Tokyo, and New York.
