Mireya Mendoza is a Mexican voice actress with a career spanning over 25 years in the dubbing industry, known for her work in anime, animated series, and live-action television and film. Born Elsa Mireya Mendoza Vásquez on August 18, 1982, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, she was raised in Cuernavaca, Morelos, where she first encountered the world of dubbing at the age of 17 through a friend who was an audio engineer. Her initial opportunity came with a role in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, after which she trained under actor and director Carlos Becerril to refine her vocal skills. She eventually relocated to Mexico City to further her career.
Mendoza has built an extensive filmography in anime, lending her voice to a wide array of characters. Among her notable roles are Claire Redfield in the CGI miniseries Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, Kasey Ann in the Netflix series Super Crooks, and Am and the Village Chief in Star Wars: Visions. She is also recognized for her work in long-running franchises, such as Mylene in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia, Kyoko Inaba in Jigoku Sensei Nube, and Kyoko Milchan in Heat Guy J.
