David Chevalier is an Italian voice actor born on June 17, 1978. He began his career in dubbing at the age of eight and comes from a family with a strong background in the field, as he is the son of voice actor Roberto Chevalier. While he is widely recognized for dubbing numerous live-action actors in Italian, including Tom Hiddleston, Adam Driver, and Taylor Lautner, he has also built a substantial career voicing characters in anime and animated films.

Chevalier's anime voice acting credits are extensive. He is well-known for providing the Italian voice for Rintarō Okabe in the series Steins;Gate and its sequel Steins;Gate 0. He also voices Kaworu Nagisa in the Rebuild of Evangelion film series, which includes Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance, Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, and Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time. His work in this franchise also extends to the Netflix redub of the original Neon Genesis Evangelion series and its associated films, where he voices the character Makoto Hyuga.

His filmography includes a variety of other significant roles. In the film The Sky Crawlers, he is the Italian voice of the protagonist Yuichi Kannami. He voiced the character Uomo Lupo (the Wolf Man) in the acclaimed film Wolf Children. He also appears as Previsione in the series Super Crooks, as Hiroki Mita in Mix: Meisei Story, as the Young Man in the film Mirai, and as Ryo Utsugi in Demon Lord Dante. Chevalier's voice can also be heard in many other productions, such as Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion as Guilbert Guilford, Blue Submarine No. 6 as Alessandro David Cekeros, and the 1999 Hunter X Hunter series as Zushi.
