Takuya Kirimoto is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on July 27, 1967, in Gifu Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent management firm Aoni Production. He was previously a member of the Seinenza Theater Company and used the stage name Takuya Kirimoto written as 桐本 琢也 until changing to his current name in February 2016. A graduate of Meijo University, he has been active in the entertainment industry since 1990.

Kirimoto is known for his versatile voice and has built a substantial career spanning animation, video games, and dubbing for live-action foreign films and television series. In anime, he has portrayed a wide range of characters, from authority figures to antagonists. Notable roles include Masamune Kido in World Trigger, a role confirmed across multiple sources; Colonel David in Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall; and Takeshi Shinjō in Chaos;Child. He also voiced Gonza in Heart and Yummie and Takumi Gonno in KADO: Beyond Information. His filmography includes roles in long-running series such as Charlotte Cracker in One Piece, Lakan in The Apothecary Diaries, and Genzō Umon in Grendizer U. In film, his work includes Makoto Shimoyamada in City Hunter: Shinjuku Private Eyes and the 2023 sequel City Hunter: Angel Dust, as well as roles in Summer Wars, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and the animated film adaptation of Genocidal Organ. He has also contributed to numerous video games, lending his voice to characters such as Zhuge Dan in the Dynasty Warriors and Warriors Orochi series, Odysseus in Fate/Grand Order, and Masamichi Shintani in Judgment.

Beyond anime and games, Kirimoto is highly active in the field of dubbing, providing the official Japanese voice for several prominent Western and Asian actors. He is the regular dubbing actor for American actor Bradley Cooper, Hyun Bin, So Ji-sub, and Ben Foster. His extensive dubbing credits include Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones, Dexter Morgan in Dexter, and Barty Crouch Jr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He also voiced Mantis in the Japanese-language versions of the Kung Fu Panda films.

Throughout his career, Kirimoto has been recognized for his skill and reliability within the industry. He is regarded as a capable and versatile performer, able to handle a broad spectrum of characters with distinct vocal qualities.
