Hinaki Yano is a Japanese voice actor, singer, and actor born on March 5, 1997, in Hyogo Prefecture. She is affiliated with the agency Sony Music Artists. Her journey in the entertainment industry began before her voice acting career, starting as a child model. She was active in several idol groups, including piecees, momonaki, and notably became a member of the idol group Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku in 2010, from which she graduated the following year. Following her time as an idol, she pursued acting in stage productions and independent films before transitioning to voice acting. Her interest in voice acting was sparked during her time with the Utata Neko Kagekidan theater group.

Yano's voice acting debut in animation came in 2019 with a role in the Netflix anime Cannon Busters. Her career gained significant momentum in 2020 when she was cast as Yu Takasaki in the popular franchise Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. This role became a defining part of her career, and she has reprised it in numerous related projects, including the second season of the anime, the Nijiyon Animation spin-off series, the OVA Next Sky, and the theatrical conclusion films. In 2021, she took on several other high-profile main roles, playing Momoe Sawaki in the original anime Wonder Egg Priority, Suzune Miyama in the idol audition anime Selection Project, and Kitasan Black in the second season of Uma Musume Pretty Derby, a role she continued in the series' third season.

In recognition of her breakout performances during this period, Yano was one of the recipients of the Best New Actress Award at the 16th Seiyu Awards in 2022. Her career has continued to flourish with a diverse range of roles. She has provided voices for Sara da Odin in A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics, Nikola in Quality Assurance in Another World, Halle in Kizuna no Allele, and Aria in I'm a Behemoth. She has also been cast as Shizuri Ideura in NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dōsei Hajimemashita and as Akane Sakuramori in Class no Dai Kirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta. Beyond animation, she is the vocalist for the band Dusty Fruits Club and has contributed to theme songs and character songs for several of the anime in which she has appeared.
