Tobias Brecklinghaus is a German voice actor born on December 29, 1983, in Essen, Germany. His path to becoming a voice actor was established early through formal training; before completing his high school diploma in 2003, he had already finished a three-year course in speech and singing at the Folkwang University of the Arts in his hometown. He later studied German and English at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Since 2007, Brecklinghaus has worked as a freelance speaker, building a career that spans animation, video games, advertising, and television.

Within the anime and animation genre, Brecklinghaus has lent his voice to a wide array of characters, often bringing depth to serious or powerful figures. His notable roles include the cunning merchant Lassic David in Record of Grancrest War, the fierce warrior Bjorn in Vinland Saga, and the formidable warrior Gazef Stronoff in Overlord III.
