His entry into the world of voice acting came at the age of eleven through the professional connections of his mother, a sound editor. This early opportunity led to his first ongoing role, providing the German voice for Brian Tanner in the television series ALF. Following his secondary school leaving certificate in 1993, he pursued private training in acting, speech, and phonetics.
