Melissa Garcia is a Brazilian actress, voice actress, and dubbing director, recognized for her extensive work in anime and other animated series for the Brazilian Portuguese market. Born Melissa de Carvalho Garcia on July 10, 1980, in Santo André, São Paulo, she began her career in voice acting at the age of seventeen, with her first credited role being Super Modelo Mindi in the series Ana Pimentinha. Her professional foundation is in theater; she became interested in acting at age twelve and later graduated from the Teatro Escola Célia Helena.

Garcia's voice is known to Brazilian audiences for a wide array of characters in anime. In the franchise Dragon Ball, she is the voice of Videl, a role she has performed in Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Kai, and the 2022 film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. She is also the voice of Ami Mizuno, also known as Sailor Mercury, for the Sailor Moon series from the R season onward, including the film Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal. Her other notable anime roles include Marion Phauna in Shaman King, Milo in the Netflix series Revisions, Erika in Medarot Damashii, Janis in Heat Guy J, Ryo-sama in Popolocrois Monogatari, Kou Saotome in Shooting Starlets Musumet, Princesinha (Kushinada) in The Little Prince and the Eight-Headed Dragon, and Kaori Kudo in Hoop Days. Beyond these, her portfolio encompasses a broad range of characters, such as Téa Gardner in the initial episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh!, Orihime Inoue in Bleach, Skuld in Ah! Megami-sama, and Naru Narusegawa in Love Hina. For her performance as Sakura in Sakura Wars, she received the Prêmio Yamato for Best Newcomer in 2006.

In addition to her work in anime, Garcia has voiced characters in numerous live-action productions and Western animation. She is known for dubbing Demi Lovato's characters, such as Mitchie Torres in the Camp Rock films and Sunny Munroe in Sunny Between Stars. She also provided the voice of Casey McDonald in the series My Life with Derek. Her work as a dubbing director includes series for channels such as Disney XD and the Brazilian animated series Irmão do Jorel, for which she also voices multiple characters including Vovó Juju, Lara, and Ana Catarina. From 2009 to 2017, Garcia was the official branding voice for the Boomerang channel in Brazil.
