Miki Narahashi is a Japanese voice actress and narrator born on January 25, 1960, in Tokyo. She is a graduate of Keisen Junior and Senior High School and is affiliated with the talent agency Arts Vision. Her career in voice acting began in 1983, with her debut role as Masao Tachibana in the original Captain Tsubasa anime series.
Narahashi is best known for her long-standing role as Misae Nohara, the mother of the titular character in the immensely popular and long-running series Crayon Shin-chan. She began voicing the character in 1992 and has continued in the role for decades, appearing in the television series and numerous theatrical films, including recent releases such as Crayon Shin-chan: Our Dinosaur Diary (2024) and the upcoming Crayon Shin-chan the Super Hot! The Scorching Kasukabe Dancers (2025). Her portrayal of the character has made her voice widely recognized in Japan. Another of her significant and enduring roles is Hanako Migiwa in the long-running anime Chibi Maruko-chan.
Throughout her extensive career, Narahashi has demonstrated considerable versatility, voicing a wide range of characters across different genres. She has played young male characters, such as her debut role in Captain Tsubasa, as well as various other roles in series like King of Braves GaoGaiGar, where she voiced Swan White and other characters, and in Jungle King Tar-chan as Jane.
