Rena Maeda is a Japanese voice actress and narrator born on April 28, 1989, in Fukuoka Prefecture. She is a graduate of the Fukuoka School of Music. Maeda began her career in 2011 with small roles in series such as Aria the Scarlet Ammo and Hanasaku Iroha, and she quickly gained recognition for her regular role as Machi in the 2011 adaptation of Hunter x Hunter in 2012. Her first leading role came in 2014 when she was cast as Princess Nike Lemercier in the fantasy romance anime The World Is Still Beautiful, a performance that helped solidify her presence in the industry. In her early career, she was affiliated with AIR AGENCY, and after a period as a freelancer, she joined the agency Stay Luck in 2017.

Throughout her career, Maeda has built an extensive and diverse portfolio of voice acting credits in anime, video games, and film dubbing.
