Maria Lluïsa Magaña is a Spanish actress specializing in dubbing, voice direction, and theater, with a career spanning several decades. Born in Barcelona, she began her professional journey in the mid-1980s, with her debut in dubbing taking place in 1986. Her early training was at Barcelona's first dubbing school, where she was a student of the actor Luis Posada. Before focusing on voice work, she started in theater with the Societat La Coral Els Amics de Terrassa.
Magaña is primarily known for her extensive work providing Catalan and Spanish voices for numerous anime series and films. In the 1990s, she voiced roles in several key animated productions. She was the voice of Grendel in the 1991 Catalan dub of the 1967 Toei Animation film Jack and the Witch, known in Catalan as El Joan i la bruixa. During the same period, she lent her voice to Jennie Hoshino in the series Space Warrior Baldios and to the character Andròmeda in Space Adventure Cobra - The Movie. She also contributed to the long-running franchise Dragon Ball, voicing characters including Xixi and later taking on roles in Dragon Ball GT and a Dragon Ball film. Another notable role from this era was voicing one of the titular twins mother, Mrs. O'Sullivan, in the anime series Mischievous Twins: The Tales of St. Clare's (Les Bessones a St. Clare's) in 1998.
