Meredith McCoy is an American actress and singer recognized for her contributions to English-language dubs of Japanese anime, particularly during the early 2000s. Born Meredith Rae Thompson on August 11, 1980, in Fort Worth, Texas, she began her voice acting career in association with Funimation Entertainment. One of her most prominent and enduring roles is that of Fujiko Mine in the Lupin III franchise. Between 2002 and 2006, McCoy provided the English voice for the iconic femme fatale in Funimation's dubs of several Lupin III television specials and theatrical films. Her portrayal of Fujiko can be heard in titles including Lupin III: Crisis in Tokyo, Lupin III: Island of Assassins, Lupin III: Voyage to Danger, Lupin III: Missed by a Dollar, Lupin III: The Pursuit of Harimao's Treasure, Lupin III: Dragon of Doom, and Lupin III: Farewell to Nostradamus.

McCoy is perhaps best known for her long-standing role as the powerful and stoic Android 18 in the Dragon Ball series. She first voiced the character in Dragon Ball Z and continued to play her in subsequent series like Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super, as well as in numerous films. Notably, she returned to the role for the film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, reprising the character she had voiced for decades. Her work in the franchise also includes voicing the characters Launch and Marron. While she did not reprise the role for the Dragon Ball Z Kai recut, she returned for later theatrical films such as Battle of Gods and Resurrection F.

Beyond these signature roles, McCoy built an extensive filmography with Funimation, frequently collaborating with a consistent pool of voice actors and directors in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Her notable anime credits include voicing Kagura Sohma in the 2001 adaptation of Fruits Basket, Maria Ross in both Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Atsuko Urameshi in Yu Yu Hakusho, and additional voices in series like Case Closed and Blue Gender. She also lent her voice to the English adaptations of films such as Origin: Spirits of the Past and Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.

In addition to her voice work, Meredith McCoy is also an accomplished singer. Her musical contributions to anime include performing the second English opening theme song, Believe, for the One Piece dub, as well as the English version of the opening theme for the 2001 Fruits Basket series. She has also sung with various musical groups, including the jazz and swing band Corner Pocket, and has released solo music.
