Wally Wingert is an American voice actor known for his extensive work in English dubs of anime series and films. Born in Des Moines, Iowa in 1961, he began his career in radio before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting and voice performance. His early aspirations and drive to perform led him to learn voice acting through direct experience in the industry rather than formal schooling.
Wingert has built a substantial career voicing a wide array of characters across numerous popular anime franchises. In the series Tokyo Pig, he provided the voice for the character Dad, the father of the protagonist. He is also recognized for his role as Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, also known as the superhero Wild Tiger, in both the original Tiger & Bunny series and its sequel, Tiger & Bunny 2. His work in the Digimon franchise includes voicing Hippogriffomon in the film Digimon Frontier: Island of Lost Digimon.
